When planning a trip to Cancún and Yucatán, you need to decide about your transportation options. While renting a car is a popular option, we prefer to use public transportation. Not only it is good for the environment, but it gives you time to relax while in transit instead of worrying about the drive. Hace unos años tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar Jordania e Israel. En estos días nos han hecho muchas preguntas acerca de este viaje, así que decidimos compartir nuestro itinerario. Ese año en particular no teníamos mucho tiempo de vacaciones, así que procuramos visitar los lugares mas importantes de Jordania y le añadimos unos días en Israel (que ya habíamos visitado muchos años antes). The Faroe Islands are an archipelago of small islands with an absolutely stunning landscape. At every turn there are amazing views! However, connecting these islands was not easy an task. A series of underwater tunnels, bridges and small roads were carved into the mountains in order to provide access to the villages. After reading about the one-lane tunnels, I was suddenly not so sure about wanting to drive there! However, since public transportation was not a practical option, we decided to rent a car. The Faroe Islands are quickly becoming the next must-see destination. The breathtaking mountains, quaint villages, grass-roofed cabins and endless fjords are quickly becoming popular on social media. Even when most of the pictures you see are from world-class hikers, the reality is that the Faroes are accessible to most independent travelers and even families. But how do you plan your getaway to this majestic fairy tale land? After dreaming of this place for so long, we finally were able to visit over the summer, and we share everything that we learned while planning this adventure.
